LucemChoc® is a pre-tinted two-component mineral mortar with a microcement appearance. It adapts to every situation and dresses interior spaces. A full floor or wall covering in its own right — like tiles or timber — it impresses with its mineral look and can be applied to most floor, wall and furniture substrates.

What substrates can microcement be applied to?
Microcement can be applied to the majority of existing substrates: concrete slab, cement screed, tiles, levelling compound, existing hard floor, and even underfloor heating.
In renovation, it covers an existing floor without heavy demolition.
Its main advantage is its minimal thickness: just 2 mm, avoiding significant threshold or door adjustments.
The essential requirement is substrate strength and flatness — it must be sound and properly prepared.
Is it compatible with underfloor heating?
Yes, microcement is perfectly compatible with underfloor heating. The technical approval covers its application.
Thanks to its minimal thickness, it allows excellent heat diffusion.
A precise heating protocol before and after application is recommended.
Is microcement suited to all rooms?
Microcement is suited to living areas: lounge, kitchen, bedroom, entrance, corridor.
It can be used in bathrooms, but is not recommended in areas with constant direct water contact (e.g. built-in shower base). Contact us to discover all our technical solutions.
Is the finish uniform or intentionally varied?
Microcement is never totally uniform like an industrial tile.
Its appearance depends on the chosen finish (smooth, clouded, quartz-effect…), the applicator's technique, and the selected shade.
Each floor is unique with subtle nuances that define its character. It is a mineral material.
Does microcement provide a totally seamless surface?
Microcement offers a visually continuous surface, without joints.
However, existing movement joints in the substrate must be maintained to prevent cracking.
They are discreetly integrated into the final appearance.
Is microcement cold underfoot?
No, microcement is no colder than tiles.
It naturally takes on the ambient room temperature.
With underfloor heating, it provides very comfortable thermal warmth.
How do you clean it day-to-day?
Maintenance is simple: regular cleaning with a pH-neutral product.
Avoid aggressive products (acid, bleach, ammonia).
To preserve the surface appearance and protection long-term, the use of a specific product like LucemCare is recommended.
